Meet the Owner
A quick introduction to who we are and how we work with homeowners around Lake Norman.
How Southern Style Turf & Design Got Started
I've always loved this kind of work, especially pavers and retaining walls. Building something solid that changes how a yard looks and works is what got me into it.
In February 2023 I started Southern Style Turf & Design. We focus on drainage, grading, retaining walls and hardscaping for homeowners around Lake Norman.
I keep it simple. I come out for every estimate myself, and I oversee every project. The work is done by our own in-house crew. We don't hand jobs off to subcontractors. The business carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance.
There's no office for customers to visit. We're a mobile crew: we come to your property, look at the problem, and tell you straight what will fix it.
Since then we've earned 80 Google reviews and BBB A+ accreditation (since October 2025), and we're members of the NCNLA, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and the Mooresville–South Iredell Chamber of Commerce.
When you call, you'll talk to me.
